what happened on 9/11. But that the truth is
not what we were told is obvious in this
spoof. Satirical conspiracy thriller

A little prior history. Several years ago, in
early 2002, the IFFR showed the documentary
Horns and Halos by Michael Galinsky and Suki
Hawley about the problems of a biographer of

This Hicks is unmistakably the source of
inspiration and the model for the hero,

the programme of a privatised intelligence
service that destroyed 2.5 terabytes of data
about the financing of Al Qaeda in the six
months before 11 September. In other words we
find ourselves on the territory of the
alternative explanations for 9/11. Thomas
Flynn runs a left wing ('radical')
cafÃ©/bookstore and is the writer of a
conspiracy exposÃ© about 9/11. He suddenly
finds himself the focus of attention of a
beautiful Eastern European femme fatale
(played by the unique Elina LowensÃ¶hn), who
is fleeing the architects of a worldwide
cover-up of 9/11. Thomas does everything he
can to find out what really happened and soon
has to cycle like a maniac when the first

Thomas Kean there is "no question" the
CIA was aware that its now-destroyed
videotapes depicting severe interrogations
were among evidence being sought by 9/11
Commission investigators, and the destruction
of the tapes was an attempt to "impede our
investigation"

As for knowing about the September 11th
attacks in advance, look, I hate to say this
but anyone who did not know that al Qaeda
was, in general, trying to fly fuel-laden
airplanes into the World Trade Center was
willfully ignorant, and it didn't take
special knowledge or genius intelligence to
observe that by 2001 it had been longer than
usual since the last time al Qaeda had been
caught.

And by "anyone" I don't mean anyone in the
Bush administration, or people with
top-secret security clearances. I mean anyone
--you, me, everyone in America who could
read the New York Times, which quietly
covered enough of the covert war against al
Qaeda to convey everything one needed to know
except the names and dates of the next
attack.

So why should "so and so knew about 9/11 in
advance" be such a damning crime? Why would
the CIA need to protect itself from
Congressional knowledge of that fact? Many
Americans who knew nearly as precisely about
al Qaeda's plans, and said so at the highest
levels of government, are alive and well--
if somewhat demoralized at having been proven
so tragically prescient.

effective marketing device for the
CIA-imposed surveillance state. Could this
explain why the anthrax used in the attack
was so similar to weapons developed in the
US?

Curiously, not only is the post-9-11
"antiterrorist" climate perfectly suited for
government/corporate experimentation under
the pretext of protection, the vaccines to be
used in this climate are the most perfectly
suited for use in such experimentation.

The strange death of Dr. David M. Graham

Graham's suspicion that he was poisoned by
some element of the US government stemmed
from a report he'd made to a Shreveport FBI
agent in November 2000 - more than three
years earlier - concerning Mohammad Jamal
Khan, a Pakistani businessman whose blond
hair and pale skin contributed to a personal
aura of mystery. The US government would
later identify Khan as a candidate for
prosecution for crimes related to the
Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks by the time
Graham fell ill. While visiting Khan's
apartment, Graham met two men he later
identified as 9-11 hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi
and Fayez Banihammad.

Keys to 9/11

Murad confessed to Philippine police that he
and his companions were ready to carry out an
ambitious terror attack. Murad, a pilot who
had received some of his pilot training in
the United States, was primed to crash a
plane into C.I.A. headquarters in Langley,
Virginia. A second pilot would crash his
plane into the Pentagon, and another would
crash his plane into some major federal
building. These suicide bombings would be
coordinated with other crashes.

Who Is Dietrich Snell?

Early 1998: Prosecutors Turn Down Deal That
Could Reveal Bojinka Third Plot Abdul Hakim
Murad, a conspirator in the 1995 Bojinka plot
with Ramzi Yousef, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed
(KSM), and others, was convicted in 1996 of
his role in the Bojinka plot (see January 6,
1995). He is about to be sentenced for that
crime. He offers to cooperate with federal
prosecutors in return for a reduction in his
sentence, but prosecutors turn down his
offer. Dietrich Snell, the prosecutor who
convicted Murad, will say after 9/11 that he
does not remember any such offer. But court
papers and others familiar with the case
later confirm that Murad does offer to
cooperate at this time. Snell will claim he
only remembers hearing that Murad had
described an intention to hijack a plane and
fly it into CIA headquarters. However, in
1995 Murad had confessed to Philippine
investigators that this would have been only
one part of a larger plot to crash a number
of airplanes into prominent US buildings,
including the World Trade Center and the
Pentagon, a plot that KSM later will adjust
and turn into the 9/11 plot (see January 20,
1995) (see February-Early May 1995).

Dawdler in chief: The suspicious
behavior of George W. Bush during the
9/11 attacks

Now that it was clear that America was under
attack and needed its president immediately,
it is far more difficult to dismiss George
W. Bush's continued dawdling as some kind of
accident. As the Arlington Heights Daily
Herald pointed out: "on that day, Bush's
presence made even the planned reading event
a perceived target." In fact, according to
the Daily Herald: "Because the
well-publicized event at the school assured
Bush's location that day was no secret, the
dense White House security urged school
officials to send students home." [26]
Apparently, they did not do this right away,
as the president remained at the school for
over half an hour after the second attack
occurred.

If Bush himself was unwilling to excuse
himself from the classroom, surely his Secret
Service agents should have removed him from
there.

total. One is always kept on alert, with a

CIA Hiding Knowledge of Alhamzi and Almihdhar

Tom Wilshire, a CIA officer on loan to the
FBI, obtains three photographs from the
surveillance of al-Qaeda's Malaysia summit
(see January 5-8, 2000), and passes them to
Dina Corsi, an agent with the FBI's bin Laden
unit. Corsi learned of the photographs'
existence following a discussion with another
CIA officer, Clark Shannon. Although Wilshire
does not have a--substantive
conversation--with Corsi about the photos,
he does identify hijacker Khalid Almihdhar in
one of them, and says Almihdhar traveled from
Sana'a, Yemen, to Dubai, United Arab
Emirates, and then Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in
early January 2000. However, Wilshire omits
to mention that Almihdhar has a US visa, his
associate hijacker Nawaf Alhazmi has traveled
to the US, or another associate, Khallad bin
Attash, has been identified in the
photos. Corsi understands that the photos are
"not formally passed" to the FBI, but
are only for limited use at a forthcoming
meeting. Therefore, only limited information
about them is provided at the meeting,
causing a disagreement (see June 11,
2001). However, Wilshire will later say that
Corsi could give the photos to the FBI, but
the FBI could not then give them to a foreign
government (note: the photos had been
provided to a foreign government five months
previously, so this restriction is
meaningless).

the official blame for the WTC "collapses".

Also worth noting that the Deutsche tower had

Former Chief of NIST's Fire Science
Division Calls for Independent Review of
World Trade Center Investigation

James Quintiere, Ph.D., former Chief of the
Fire Science Division of the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST),
has called for an independent review of
NIST's investigation into the collapses of
the World Trade Center Towers on 9/11.

Dr. Quintiere made his plea during his
presentation, "Questions on the WTC
Investigations" at the 2007 World Fire
Safety Conference. "I wish that there
would be a peer review of this," he said,
referring to the NIST investigation. "I
think all the records that NIST has assembled
should be archived. I would really like to
see someone else take a look at what they've
done; both structurally and from a fire point
of view."

CIA blew chances to spot
9/11 threat, says report

A 19-page summary of the inspector's report
was published yesterday under a new
congressional law passed earlier this month,
having been kept secret since it was
written. It underlines the depth of
infighting between the CIA and the National
Security Agency which prevented clear lines
of responsibility in the fight against
al-Qaida.

Though the report found no evidence of
misconduct or illegality, it bluntly stated
that CIA officers "did not discharge their
responsibilities in a satisfactory
manner". The inspector, John Helgerson, went
as far as to recommend further panels of
inquiry into the conduct of key individuals
within the agency to see whether disciplinary
action should be taken against them.

Report: CIA missed chances
to thwart al-Qaida before 9/11

Although 50 to 60 people read at least one
CIA cable about two of the hijackers, the
information wasn't shared with the proper
offices and agencies. "That so many
individuals failed to act in this case
reflects a systemic breakdown.... Basically,
there was no coherent, functioning
watch-listing program," the report said. The
report again called for further review of
Black and his predecessor.

2 firefighters killed in blaze at 9/11 site

A seven-alarm fire in an abandoned skyscraper
killed two firefighters and sent a plume of
gray smoke trailing above ground zero today.

Officers at the scene were preventing nearby
residents from returning to their homes even
to rescue pets, telling them that authorities
were concerned the former Deutsche Bank
office building, vacant since Sept. 11 turned
it into a toxic nightmare, could fall. Mayor
Michael Bloomberg said that fear turned out
to be unfounded.

CIA report on 9/11 due Labor Day

Congress ordered the report in late 2002, and
Helgerson completed the bulk of the work in
2003 and 2004, when Tenet was still CIA
director. Following Tenet's resignation in
July 2004, his successor, Porter Goss,

of the report's draft and asked Helgerson to
make changes before it was sent to Congress.

CIA report on 9/11 due Labor Day

Until now, the CIA had refused to disclose
any part of the report since its former
inspector general (IG), John Helgerson,
completed the final draft more than two years
ago. The 9/11 bill, which addresses most of
the 9/11 Commission's unfulfilled
recommendations, is the first successful
legislation to mandate a declassified
summary.

According to previous media accounts, the IG
report is more hard-hitting about the CIA's
internal failings than the 9/11 Commission's
2004 account, and points fingers at specific
senior individuals at the agency. Those
reportedly include former CIA Director George
Tenet, former Deputy Director of Operations
James Pavitt, and former CIA Counterterrorism
Center Chief Cofer Black. All have left the

How can I clean up dusts in or near my home
or office?

The best way to remove dust is to use a wet
rag or wet mop. Sweeping with a dry broom
is not recommended because it can make dust
airborne again. Dirty rags should be put

Each tower was supported by a structural core
extending from its bedrock foundation to its
roof. The cores were rectangular pillars with
numerous large columns and girders, measuring

housed the elevators, stairs, and other

conversation to express his incredulity at
the fact that Fox News was comparing the

"You can't even begin to compare 5 inch thick
steel plate core columns, approximately 2

to quarter inch and 3 quarter inch dowels
that connect the steel to the support

The panel said part of the problem was a lack
of coordination among immigration officials

Fireproofing key to Twin Towers' collapse

But some experts remain unconvinced by the
study's conclusions. James Quintiere, of the
University of Maryland, US, says he does not
understand how fireproof insulation could
have been dislodged from the buildings'
floors and columns.

"Everything I see points to the fact that
there may not have been enough insulation,"
he told New Scientist, adding that the fuel
loads used in the report's calculations may
have been too low.

And Barbara Lane, leader of the Structural
Fire Group at UK engineering company Arup,
adds: "[We] don't believe that [the
dislodging of fireproof material] has been
substantiated in any of the published data to
date.” She adds that it is difficult to
extrapolate heat assessments of a material to
what might happen when it is actually in
place in a building."

My side of the story

As each day brought more news accounts of
security checkpoint problems, the media

reported that a Logan ramp pass had been
found in one of the terrorists' cars. A
Chicago newspaper said another hijacking out
of Logan was thwarted, citing a flight number
that didn't exist. Yet another story reported
locally said that a pilot "described as
Middle Eastern" had been given a tour of the
Logan tower just days before the
hijackings. The first two stories turned out
to be baseless, the other misinterpreted, but
the perception of an airport out of control
was growing.

Looking for Truth in Credentials:
The WTC 'Experts'

Exactly how they could find so many experts
on the fire-induced collapse of tall
buildings is not immediately clear,
considering such an event had never happened
before. But it did help that the questions
were quickly framed as being solely matters
of structural engineering, a sub-field of
civil engineering, because structural
engineers cannot find work without continual
government approvals. A Chemistry laboratory
manager like myself can work without permits
or licenses, but people can't just go out and
build a bridge or a tall building on their
own. The extensive paperwork necessary to
complete civil engineering projects is
obtained by working closely with, and staying
on good terms with, local and national
authorities.

We think Ted Olson should clarify how his
wife made a phone call from a plane with no
airphones flying over remote mountains. We
would like to hear why Mohammed Atta's
baggage was "held off" flight 11
(Kean-Zelikow). We would like to know why
there is no recording of the long "Let's
Roll" phone call between a phone exchange
supervisor and why she was unable to connect
Todd Beamer to his wife. We would like to
hear a plausible explanation or indeed any
explanation for the Kean-Zelikow assertion
that eight pilots in four planes all failed
to give a hijack warning. We would like to
hear the controller of Flight 77 and
operations staff at American Airlines explain
why they never considered the possibility,
while the Twin Towers were burning and 77 was
out of contact and flying a new course, that
the plane had been hijacked. After four years
of Washington-based investigations, all
essentially behind closed doors, the list of
obvious, simple unanswered questions just
goes on and on.

DiBono's contract was not only worth
millions, but was an on-going venture,
given that the original fireproofing of
the buildings was not done properly, a
situation the Port Authority was aware
of, and thus the fireproofing materials
had to be inspected and in some cases
replaced with the passage of each year.

On October 4, 1990 security employees of
the World Trade Center found Louis DiBono's
body in the front seat of his car in the
parking lot underneath the North Tower.
DiBono had been shot three times while
approaching his car and then dragged inside
the car. As DiBono weighed 350 pounds that
suggested more than one person was involved
in the murder.

This murder betrayed a shocking gap in the
Security in place at the World Trade Center;
no video camera surveillance photos existed
to document who was responsible for this
outrageous crime committed in a public place,
and no eyewitnesses or ‘ear witnesses'

question I have -- the question I have is, it
appears that the CIA has disbanded the unit
that was hunting him down. Is it no longer
important to track him down?

BUSH: I -- you know, it's just an incorrect
story. I mean, we got a -- we're -- we got a
lot of assets looking for Osama bin Laden. So
whatever you want to read in that story, it's
just not true, period.

requirements that it be brief, easy to
remember, dialed easily, and that it worked
well with the phone systems in place at the
time. How the number 911 itself was chosen is
not well known and is subject to much

the somewhat positive New York Times
coverage of their Chicago Revealing
the Truth event.

The guilty secret is that the attack on
Afghanistan was unnecessary. The "smoking
gun" of this entire episode is evidence of

International Legal Issues in Information
Operations,” the Pentagon's Office of

information warfare attacks on banks, stock
exchanges, and universities. The lawyers
warned of the possibility of a ripple effect
on civilian populations and unintended
consequences for neutral or allied
nations. As for disinformation campaigns

was straightforward: “it might be possible
to use computer morphing techniques to create
an image of the enemy's chief of state
informing his troops that an armistice or
cease-fire agreement had been signed. If
false, this also would be a war crime.”

The fact that these known Al Qaeda operatives, Khalid al-Mihdhar
and Nawaf al-Hazmi, had fought in Bosnia raises a lot of questions
as to how they came to the United States and what they were doing
here. Prince Bandar has a long history of involvement with the
CIA going back to Iran-Contra. Walsh Reports, President Reagan:

McFarlane and CIA Director William
J. Casey sought aid from foreign
governments for the contras during the
first six months of 1984.17 There is no
doubt that the President was informed of
the first successful effort to secure
third-country funding. In May or June
1984, McFarlane advised the President
that the Saudi Arabian ambassador, Prince
Bandar, volunteered to deliver $1
million-per-month to a contra bank
account. According to McFarlane, the
President responded to this information
with the words 'Good news' or 'That's

And these payments to Al-Mihdhar and Al-Hazmi
were routed through the Riggs Bank, which was
used in US covert operations: The CIA and
Riggs Bank

prove problematic because it could cast a
different light on the bank's dealings
with two U.S. foreign-policy allies,
former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet
and Prince Bandar bin Sultan, Saudi

that the bank's failure to disclose
financial activity by the foreign

Sept. 11 hijackers — Khalid al-Mihdar and

Some of the new experiments also sought to
reproduce the less contentious findings on
cold fusion reported independently by
Dr. Steven E. Jones and his colleagues at
Brigham Young University in Utah. Dr. Jones,
who used a device similar to the one in the
Pons-Fleischmann experiment, did not claim
that any useful energy was produced. But he
did report that slightly more neutrons were
detected while the cell was operating than
could be expected from normal sources. The
result suggests at least the possibility of
fusion, he said, although it is not likely to
be useful as an energy source.

Physicists who have investigated Dr. Jones's
report have been fairly restrained in their
criticism, acknowledging that Dr. Jones is a
careful scientist. But from the outset they
have expressed profound skepticism of claims

by Congress to bring down the WTC using

These are the harsh words of Timothy McNiven,
an outspoken critic of the President's

A Morrocan-born Montrealer detained for

pilots' uniform, as first reported, but his
paradise wedding suit, says an American
Airlines employee who was with authorities
when they first opened his luggage.

The Australian - 48-year-old Mamdouh Habib -
will be released without charge even though
the United States believes he knew of the
Sept. 11 attacks beforehand, Australia's

Habib, a one-time Sydney coffee shop owner,
had allegedly confessed to his U.S. captors
to having prior knowledge of the al-Qaida
plot to fly hijacked airliners into buildings
in Washington and New York and to training
some of the hijackers in martial arts.

Motassadeq was convicted of the charges last
year, making him the only person anywhere
found guilty of playing a role in the
Sept. 11 plot to attack targets in the United
States. But he was freed in April, after an
appellate court rejected the verdict as based
on flimsy evidence and other legal
deficiencies.

The 9/11 Commission Report [1] has been
called "the must-read book of this summer"
for Americans. It has also been called a
"whitewash" and the "Omission Report." I
agree that the book is important,
well-written, and worthy of the most serious
attention. I also agree that it has serious
omissions [2].

When the FAA's Boston Center finally reached
NEADS, an official broke the news of the
first hijacking:

"We have a problem here. We have a hijacked
aircraft headed to New York, and we
need you guys to, we need someone to scramble
some F-16s or something up there, help
us out."

NEADS replied: "Is this real-world or exercise?"

He was assured it was "not a test."

But the two fighters that were then ordered
into the air were at Otis Air Force Base,
more than 150 miles from Manhattan — and
NEADS didn't know where to send them.

The VIGILANT GUARDIAN (VG) is a VIGILANT
OVERVIEW (VO) Command Post Exercise (CPX)
conducted in conjunction with
USCINCSTRAT-sponsored GLOBAL GUARDIAN and
USCINCSPACE-sponsored APOLLO GUARDIAN
exercises. The exercise involves all HQ NORAD
levels of command and is designed to exercise
most aspects of the NORAD mission. One VG is
scheduled each year and the length will vary
depending on the exercise scenario and
objectives.

The most important evidence to the 9/11
Commission came from General Ralph Eberhart,
commander of the North American Aerospace
Defence Command (Norad). "Air force jet
fighters could have intercepted hijacked
airliners roaring towards the World Trade
Center and Pentagon," he said, "if only air
traffic controllers had asked for help 13
minutes sooner . . . We would have been able
to shoot down all three . . . all four of
them."

The agency's New York officers have been
deeply involved in counterterrorism efforts
in the New York area, working jointly with
the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other
agencies. Many of the most important
counterterrorism cases of the last few years,
including the bureau's criminal
investigations of the August 1998 bombings of
two United States Embassies in East Africa
and the October 2000 bombing of the
U.S.S. Cole in Yemen have been handled out of
New York.

The United States has accused Osama bin Laden
and his Al Qaeda terrorist network of
conducting both of those attacks.

But United States intelligence officials
emphasize that there is no evidence that the
hijackers knew that the undercover station
was in the World Trade Center complex.

The failure was not one of imagination but
rather of incentives. It turns out that many
individuals, panels, and agencies had
predicted an attack uncannily similar to what
happened on Sept. 11, 2001. The problem was
that nobody in a position of power felt
compelled to do anything about it.

The blueprints for a plot to smash planes
into buildings was all on the computer disks
found with Ramzi Yousef & Abdul Hakim Murad,
with specific targets, such as the WTC & the
Pentagon. This was in the "second phase" of
Operation Bojinka: "the hijacking of
U.S.-bound commercial airliners.... [and]
crashing them into 'key structures in the
United States: The World Trade Center, the
White House, the Pentagon, the Transamerican
Tower, and the Sears Tower were among the
prominent structures that had been identified
in the plans that we had decoded.'" Bomb

So, who was this Ramzi Yousef? He was a CIA
operative! Hambali, the leader of Jemaah
Islamiyah, also was in on "Plan Bojinka,
which was the prototype for September 11. He
also provided logistical support and acted as
a host for two of the September 11 hijackers
in Malaysia in January 2000." Also
note:"Hambali met Yousef and Khan in
Afghanistan where they fought with the
mujahedeen to drive out Soviet occupation
troops and the Soviet-installed communist
government."

of the ISI continues to be described as a
bona fide intelligence counterpart,
supportive of the US "war on terrorism".

This refusal to name names and assign
responsibility has a definite
significance. Named individuals within the
intelligence apparatus would be likely to
defend themselves by shifting responsibility
to those higher up in the chain of
command—thus directing the investigation
toward the top levels of the national
security apparatus and the White House. The
9/11 commission sought at all costs to avoid
such an outcome, and to safeguard these key
institutions of the state.

The confidential documents tell of a
chillingly familiar plan: Recruit Islamic
extremists; send them to aviation schools in
the United States to prepare to hijack
commercial planes and crash them into
buildings such as the Pentagon and World
Trade Center.

"Murad narrated to us about a plan by the
Ramzi cell in the continental U.S. to hijack
a commercial plane and ram it into the CIA
headquarters in Langley, Virginia, and also
the Pentagon," said Rodolfo Mendoza, a

Philippine investigators also found evidence
targeting commercial towers in San Francisco,

They said they passed that information on to

The AP obtained the video from the Motley
Rice law firm, which is representing some
survivors' families who are suing the
airlines and security industry over their
actions in the Sept. 11 attacks.

Security whistleblower Mary Schneider is
naming names, revealing that former FBI
Director Louis Freeh, Attorney General John
Ashcroft, FBI Director Robert Mueller and
numerous U.S. senators and congressmen knew
before the September 11 attacks that
U.S. immigration officials were bribed by an
illegal Moroccan Muslim allegedly linked to
Osama bin Laden's half-brother. This
according to Schneider, who was told about
the illegal alien's ties to terrorism by
outside informant Bonnie Sharrit.

At 4:44 pm Eastern, "The Manoman" replied to
the informant, offering what amounts to a
full confession regarding incredible
immigration fraud which he linked to
Orlando's Disney World Theme Park,
particularly at its Epcot Center, but also
allegedly involving the office of former
United States congressman and current
U.S. Senate candidate Bill McCollum--all of
which may have served to support terrorist
operations in Florida before the September 11
attacks.

In response to a pointed question, Leidig
also confirmed that the NMCC had the
capability to connect to Air Force One, but
that it did not do so, at least not during
Leidig's watch which was during most of the
time period of the actual attacks when the
President was still at the elementary school.

Leidig was asked, in effect, why the NMCC did
not connect directly to Air Force One, to
which he answered "I don't recall," and he
repeated his "I don't recall" assertion.

In Hagberg's previous best seller, High
Flight, terrorists simultaneously hijacked
airliners in different American cities, then
used the planes to kill 2,600 innocent
citizens -- a number Hagberg chose because
it's the same as were killed at Pearl Harbor.

In their testimony, and in other public
statements, NORAD officials also stated that
the Langley fighters were scrambled to
respond to the notifications about American
77 and/or United 93. These statements were
incorrect as well. The report of American 11
heading south as the cause of the Langley
scramble is reflected not just in taped
conversations at NEADS, but in taped
conversations at FAA centers, on chat logs
compiled at NEADS, Continental Region
headquarters, and NORAD, and in other
records.

Although the FBI has denied it even existed,
the terrorist support network that provided
assistance to Mohamed Atta and his fellow
hijackers remains in place in Florida.

Bush Should Cry Uncle and Release Saudi Info

The obvious question arises: Why does Rice
refuse to testify in public about what the
administration knew about impending attacks
by Al Qaeda and when the administration knew
it? Moreover, why will she not reveal what
the White House did in the immediate wake of
the attacks? This is information the American
public deserves to know.

A review of five months of intelligence
information indicated "that [Bin Laden] will
launch a significant attack against
U.S. and/or Israeli interests in the coming
weeks... The attack will be spectacular and
designed to inflict mass casualties against
U.S. facilities or interests."

"Attack preparations have been made. Attack
will occur with little or no warning," it
said.

Deutch says that originally, the north tower
contained asbestos in its cementitious
fireproofing as did the first 30 stories of
the south tower. He believes the asbestos,
which had been encapsulated, was removed
after the 1993 bombing.

WHY DON'T WE HAVE ANSWERS
TO THESE 9/11 QUESTIONS?

D.C., about the plot that took nearly 3000

We may be the only nation in history where
the president can announce a $40 billion war
against nobody in particular without
provoking comment.

NORAD's recent admission to investigative
journalist Mike Ruppert that they were
running a live-fly Field Training Exercise
that involved at least one aircraft under US
control posing as a hijacking shows VIGILANT
GUARDIAN is merely the tip of the
iceberg. Especially when considering that the
Joint Chiefs of Staff were directly involved
with this "drill."

A part of the ``Rewards for Justice'' program
to get information about terrorists, the ad
pictures Atta. Its text says he ``wanted to
learn to fly, but didn't need to take off and
land.''

That statement was never attributed to Atta
but was widely attributed in the weeks after
Sept. 11 to Zacarias Moussaoui, the only
person charged in the attacks. FBI (news -
web sites) Director Robert Mueller told
federal prosecutors in November that
Moussaoui had aroused suspicions by saying
just the opposite, that he wanted to learn
only to take off and land.

In the summer of 2001, two veteran officers
of the CIA's counterterrorist center who were
deeply involved in issues dealing with bin
Laden were so worried about an impending
disaster that they considered resigning and
going public with their concerns, the staff
reported.

The report is silent about the state of
Clinton's knowledge about the plot to use
airliners to crash into buildings. In an
interview with this author on August 9, 2003,
Patterson stated that he was not asked to
testify before the investigating committees,
speak with their staff or give any
information at all to them. Patterson stated
that he did not contact the committees.

TAMPA - Two days after the Sept. 11 attacks,
with most of the nation's air traffic still
grounded, a small jet landed at Tampa
International Airport, picked up three young
Saudi men and left.

and law enforcement officials have insisted
the flight never took place and have denied
published reports and widespread Internet
speculation about its purpose.

But now, at the request of the National
Commission on Terrorist Attacks, TIA
officials have confirmed that the flight did

As police try to decide how the 79-year-old
aunt of doomed American Airlines Flight 11
pilot John Ogonowski plunged her car into the
Merrimack River, the harbormaster who tried
to rescue her said she looked ``dumbfounded''
but ``calm'' as she sank inside her watery
tomb. ``She just looked at me the whole time
until she went under,'' Haverhill
Harbormaster Mike Vets said of Rose M. Panek
of Dracut, whose nephew piloted one of the
planes hijackers slammed into New York's
World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. On
Monday night, Panek drove her car off the
dock of the Kazmiera Marina into the
Merrimack River and sank within two
minutes. Vets dove in to rescue her, but
couldn't. Once pulled from the wreckage,
Panek could not be revived. She was
pronounced dead at the Merrimack Valley
Hospital. John Ogonowski's teenage daughter,
Laura, said the family is still trying to
piece together her great-aunt's tragic death.
``It's so sad,'' she said. ``We don't really
know the details.''

The CIA issued National Intelligence
Estimates (NIEs) in both 1995 and 1997 that
warned of attacks on US landmarks in
Washington and New York City, and the use of
hijacked airliners. This fact was made public
by CIA officials who spoke to the media in
response to criticisms in the draft report
issued by the staff of the 9/11 commission.

The 1995 estimate did not name Al Qaeda, but
attributed the threats to Islamic
fundamentalists opposed to the US presence in
the Middle East. According to an unnamed
“senior US intelligence official”
quoted in the Associated Press, the 1997 NIE
“identified bin Laden and his followers
and threats they were making and said it
might portend attacks inside the United
States.”

Ellen is suing the Bush Administration for complicity
in 9/11 under the federal RICO Act. She also
interviewed historian Gore Vidal about 9/11 and the
unprecedented stand-down of NORAD air defenses on the

FAA radar tracked Flight 77, but for what the
commission said were technical reasons, the
information was not immediately displayed to
controllers at the Indianapolis center. It
eventually re-emerged on radar, and by 9:32
a.m. controllers at Dulles observed that it
was headed toward Washington.

All the hijackers knew they weren't going to
be intercepted, just as they knew they could
have innumerable contacts with authorities in
the United States without being detained or
even put under suspicion. They knew that
nobody would try to stop them. Therefore, the
planners of the attack knew that NORAD would
be stood down on the morning of September 11.

Giuliani was allowed to drone on for 35
minutes—the longest presentation given by
any witness who has thus far appeared before
the commission—in a self-serving account
that was crafted to serve both the Bush
administration and his own business
interests. He repeated US National Security
Advisor Condoleezza Rice's lie that no one
could have imagined the use of hijacked
airplanes as weapons—ignoring the numerous
intelligence documents that had warned of
precisely such an attack.

In his remarks to PBS after the hijacking,
Boren was cheering for retribution. He said,
"if we don't act now...we're going to
continue to ask for this kind of thing"
[emphasis added]. Continue to ask? Were
Boren and Tenet "tempting" Al Qaeda and
"asking for" the 9/11 attack in order to give
themselves an opportunity to disrupt it with
dramatic action at the last moment to make
themselves appear heroic?

9/11 panel doesn't want to hear from firemen

Public address announcements made in the
south tower of the World Trade Center on
September Eleventh, 2001 urged occupants to
remain in the building until less than a
minute before it was struck.

Among a host of questions, relatives of the
dead want to know why the twin towers'
rooftop doors were locked on Sept. 11. Some
workers were rescued from the north tower by
helicopter during the 1993 trade center
bombing.

Hovering over the scene in 1993, NYPD
officer/pilot Greg Semendinger spotted the
frantic Trade Center workers, lowered two men
to the rooftop to remove antenna
obstructions, and then proceeded to shuttle
28 people to safety. Semendinger loaded them
into the Bell 412 and whisked them to safety
at the base of the tower.

The building that will replace the World
Trade Center will be called -- what else --
Freedom Tower.

Muslim turned himself in to the FBI after
having second thoughts — and warned that
fanatics planned to fly planes into
buildings. But they did not believe him —
18 months before the Twin Towers attack —
and let him go.

"Three-quarters of what I read that was
classified shouldn't have been," the
Republican former New Jersey governor said.

Now, as warnings of potential targets come
out almost daily, Johnson finds especially
troubling the 1996 statements of Abdul Hakim
Murad, a Pakistani terrorist affiliated with
al Qaeda, who confessed to police in the
Philippines that he intended to use his
American flight training to crash an
explosives-laden plane into CIA headquarters
in Virginia. Johnson says he recently
examined Murad's confession, and it includes
talk of plots to blow up U.S. nuclear
facilities. He says the parallels between
airline safety, preSeptember 11, and
security at nuclear facilities in 2002 is
chilling.

According to expert analyses of the
visa-application forms of 15 of the 9/11
terrorists (the other four applications could
not be obtained), all the applicants among
the 15 reviewed should have been denied visas
under then-existing law. Six separate experts
who analyzed the simple, two-page forms came
to the same conclusion: All of the visa
applications they reviewed should have been
denied on their face.

They not only ignored the warnings, they made
sure no fighter jets were scrambled to stop
it. If they had just done nothing, and
allowed normal procedures to be followed, the
Twin Towers would still be standing and
thousands of dead Americans would still be
alive. This is not stupidity, it is TREASON.

The performance of the North American
Aerospace Defense Command, or Norad, and its
failure to protect Washington and New York
City from attack on Sept. 11 will be a focus
of the remaining public hearings of the
10-member commission, which is in the final
weeks of its investigation.

online. Due to his IT-related duties on
Saturday & Sunday, Forbes had Tuesday,
September 11th off, and thus watched the
World Trade Center towers collapse from his
apartment. While doing so, he recalled, “I
was convinced immediately that something was
happening related to the weekend work.”

October 2000: Former U.S. Special Forces
Sergeant Ali Mohammed, also known as Abu
Mohammed ali Amriki, pleads guilty to five
counts of conspiracy to murder and kidnap
U.S. nationals and government employees in
connection with the 1998 U.S. Embassy
bombings in Africa. The former bin Laden
lieutenant testifies that he provided
security for a 1994 meeting between bin Laden
and Imad Mugniyah in Sudan. Mugniyah, the
security chief for the Lebanese Hezbollah,
discussed upcoming operations with the al
Qaeda leader. Mugniyah is believed to have
planned a series of hijackings, including the
1999 pirating of an Air India jet, in which
the hijackers used knives to take over the
plane. Air India passengers were exchanged
for five militants, including Ahmad Omar
Saeed, who is being tried for reporter Daniel
Pearl's kidnapping and murder. Israeli and
U.S. intelligence sources believe that
Mugniyah, whose whereabouts are unknown, may
have conspired with Ayman Al-Zawahiri, bin
Laden's top commander, to plan the September
11 attacks.

Bin Laden was said to be bitter because the
Saudi royal family had rebuffed his offer to
rally freedom fighters to protect the kingdom
against the threat of Saddam Hussein after
the Iraqi strongman invaded Kuwait in 1990.

The White House negotiated a convoluted
agreement under which a handful of panel
representatives were allowed to see the
briefs and take notes. Then it tried to
block these few from sharing their notes
with other panelists. Finally - after the
commission contemplated a subpoena of its
own members' notes - a 17-page summary of
the briefings, edited by the White House,
went to all commissioners.

It is not such a big mystery as to why when a
"first phase" bojinka operation was suspected
that the US government would try to explain
it away with some variation of their
mysterious "fuel-tank explosion" story, such
as in the Thai Airways case. "The American
involvement in the Thai case was too quick
and expedient" because any indepth
investigation of a bojinka-type operation
would lead right back to CIA "assets" and
more questions as to where "bojinka" actually
came from. Was this part of the CIA's
training for its operatives in guerrilla
warfare? If we had a functioning Congress,
they would have immediately called in top
administration officials after 9-11, and
demanded to know the whole bojinka story and
the status of "former" and "present" CIA
"assets" in the Al Qaeda network. The fact
that the executive branch has literally
gotten away with murder for years makes one
wonder if this "three branches of government"
system is more for appearance sake than a
reality.

The Saudi Airlines pilot, Saeed Al-Ghamdi,
25, and Abdulaziz Al-Omari, an engineer from
Riyadh, are furious that the hijackers'
"personal details" - including name, place,

diabolical genius (of the Hollywood variety),
nothing came close to the reports that
European security services are preparing to
counter a Bin Laden attempt to assassinate
President Bush at next month's G8 summit in

Laden paying German neo-Nazis to fly remote
controlled-model aircraft packed with Semtex
into the conference hall and blow the leaders

neoconservatives cabal wants to be "forced"

and evidence in the investigation of GOLD
PRICE FIXING.

"But what we have here is double agents. In
that they nominally appear to be Arab
fanatics. But one of the points that she
stressed is they are really not

drink. They are very secular. They are not
the fanatical Muslim zealots that the Bush
criminals would lead us to believe is
what's operating here. What they are is
they receive regular payments from the
U.S. Government. They have been recruited by
the CIA, FBI, counter-intelligence, and
so-forth and paid money and allowed to
exchange information with U.S. government
agents about various activities going on
and...."

Safire pointed to one such question in his
September 13 New York Times column. Referring
to the White House claim that the terrorists
had knowledge of secret information about Air
Force One, Safire asked: "How did they get
the code-word information and transponder
know-how that established their mala fides?
That knowledge of code words and presidential
whereabouts and possession of secret
procedures indicates that the terrorists may
have a mole in the White House--that, or
informants in the Secret Service, FBI, FAA,
or CIA."

Safire's entirely valid question as to how a
supposed terrorist could have knowledge of
such top-secret and sensitive information has
never been taken up by the media at large, or
addressed by the government.

What we did discover was serious enough. To
begin with, from less-than-happy FBI agents
we obtained an interesting document, some 30
pages long, marked "SECRET." I've reproduced
a couple of pages here (figure 2.1). Note the
designation "199I" -- that's FBI-speak for
"national security matter." According to
insiders, FBI agents had wanted to check into
two members of the bin Laden family, Abdullah
and Omar, but were told to stay away by
superiors -- until September 13, 2001. By
then, Abdullah and Omar were long gone from
the United States.

Why no investigation of the brothers bin
Laden? The Bush administration's line is the
Binladdins (a more common spelling of the
Arabic name) are good folk. Osama's the Black
Sheep, supposedly cut off from his Saudi
kin. But the official line notwithstanding,
some FBI agents believed the family had some
gray sheep worth questioning -- especially
these two working with the World Assembly of
Muslim Youth (WAMY), which the file labels "a
suspected terrorist organization."

Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad was in the
U.S. meeting with top U.S. officials before
and during the attacks. At the urging of the
U.S., he was later sent to Afghanistan to
"demand that the Taliban hand over bin Laden
without conditions or face certain war." When
it was revealed that Mahmoud Ahmad had
ordered his aide, Ahmad Umar Sheikh, to wire
$100,000. to "WTC hijacker Mohammed Atta"
from Pakistan, and confirmed by the F.B.I.,
the U.S. sought ISI Director-General Mahmoud
Ahmed's removal from his position, but did
not investigate or, in any way, try to hold
him responsible for his role in the attacks.

Before beginning this article, I met
Auxiliary Lieutenant Fireman and former
Auxiliary Police Officer, Paul Isaac Jr. at
the World Trade Center Memorial. Paul, along
with many other firemen, is very upset about
the obvious cover-up and he is on a crusade
for answers and justice. He was stationed at
Engine 10, across the street from the World
Trade Center in 1998 and 99; Engine 10 was
entirely wiped out in the destruction of the
towers. He explained to me that, "many
other firemen know there were bombs in the
buildings, but they're afraid for their
jobs to admit it because the
'higher-ups' forbid discussion of this
fact." Paul further elaborated that former
CIA director Robert Woolsey, as the Fire
Department's Anti-terrorism Consultant, is
sending a gag order down the ranks. "There
were definitely bombs in those buildings,"
he told me. He explained to me that, if the
building had 'pancaked' as it's been
called, the falling floors would have met
great resistance from the steel support
columns, which would have sent debris flying
outward into the surrounding blocks. I asked
him about the trusses, and quoted the history
channel's 'don't trust a truss'
explanation for the collapses. He responded
in disbelief, and told me, "You could
never build a truss building that high. A
slight wind would knock it over! Those
buildings were supported by reinforced
steel. Building don't just implode like
that; this was a demolition."

On Monday 6, August, 2001, at 17:50, [German]
Ambassador Ischinger personally notified the
President of the United States that information
developed by the Bundesamt fur Verfassungsschutz
[German domestic secret service] as well as the
BND [Bundesnachreichtendienst, German foreign
secret service] indicated that an attack by a
radical Arab group partially based in Germany was
to occur on 10-11 September, 2001. The President
was at that time in residence at his farm in
Texas. Our [the Germans'] Ambassador was
acting in direct response to instructions from
Foreign Minister Fischer.

This information was developed from official
surveillance of Arab extremist groups operating in
the Federal Republic as well as from intercepted
communications between the Embassy of Israel and
the Israeli Foreign Ministry in Tel Aviv
concerning this matter.

The information was "gratefully received" by the
US President who stated at the time that he was
also aware of the same pending assaults.

Subsequent to these attacks, the office of the US
President, through the US Department of State,
made an urgent request to the government of the
Federal Republic of Germany that no reference
whatsoever should be made to the official warnings
given by Ambassador Ischinger.

Attorney General John Ashcroft just
stared when reporters asked him about
the terror warnings. FBI Chief Robert
Mueller also refused to comment.

2/14/2008: Newly Released FBI Timeline Reveals New Information about 9/11 Hijackers that Was Ignored by 9/11 Commission

It has been widely assumed that the hijackers
did everything using their real names, or
aliases close to their real names. But a
still-classified CIA report found that the
hijackers used 364 aliases and name
variants. The FBI's timeline discloses what
some of them were. For example, Hani Hanjour
and Ahmed Alghamdi rented a New Jersey
apartment using the names Hany Saleh and
Ahmed Saleh. Fayez Ahmed Banihammad used the
aliases Abu Dhabi Banihammad and Fayey Rashid
Ahmed. Mohamed Atta frequently liked to use
variants of the name El Sayed, for instance
calling himself Awaid Elsayed and even
Hamburg Elsayed. And when Majed Moqed flew
into the US on May 2, 2001, the name
Mashaanmoged Mayed was on the flight
manifest. This suggests that some travel and
actions of the hijackers could have been
missed when they used unlikely aliases.

New Jersey sponsored Cipel for yet another

arrested by New Jersey police and Federal
agents for photographing and celebrating the
collapse of the Twin Towers on September
11. Cipel, who had no verifiable security
experience, was touted by McGreevey's
administration as having gained his
anti-terrorist credentials as a member of the
Israeli Defense Force.
